Gaze tracking & blinking

Eyes that follow
the action.

NPCs now track what is happening around them with their eyes. Combined with blinking, these small movements bring more life to their faces and make close-up encounters feel more natural.

THC & body simulation

A high
that builds.

The THC effect works with our body simulation, which models organs, the blood system, and how effects develop in the body. The high builds progressively and can combine with other states, including drunkenness.

Restricted areas

Not every room
is open to you.

New restricted zones can be recognized by certain NPCs. The security guard in the private office, for example, can recognize when you enter an area without authorization. Where you go now matters to the people watching it.

Molotovs & burning effects

Turn up
the heat.

Molotovs bring together cloth physics, breakable bottles, and burning liquid. The towel moves with the physics simulation, and when the bottle breaks, the burning liquid spills in a randomized pattern. The impact does not play out the same way every time.

NPC state.

This update also introduces a new burning state for NPCs, extending the fire interactions introduced in Part 1. The Molotov asset render is also included in the item gallery above.

Southside
Street Family.

The Vault belongs to the SSF: a neighborhood-rooted gang built on loyalty, shared history, and local hustles.

Five connected characters bring distinct personalities and voices to the family. Internal conflicts and rivalries with Blacktop Mob and the Road Reapers introduce another part of the world's lore.
